that was my read on it...seems it would be way too much power to be running through this switch to run the halogens, too, IMHO.

Guess I better update this some:
Returned aftermarket lights, bought euroswitch, now run with fogs + parking lights on instead of DRLs. Much easier!

agreed!! That is the setup I have...well, you don't have angel eyes...but almost my setup...

Actually, what you were trying to do would be very simple to do using a couple of SPDT relays wired correctly. But I see your happy with the results of the euroswitch so all is well!
