If it is still there you may need to do the relay mod and put the piece of tape between the contacts.

At O dark thirty this morning I get under way to work and noticed the illumination on the switch (the knob not the outer ring) was lit. And the light were not turned on yet.....
So If I tape the relay do I still keep the tape on the switch? And it is the "B" pin on the relay right? |

No its the B pin on the switch plug. I think it is about 3 over from the TFL pin. I never touched the relay at all on mine. Just try removing the tape from the TFL and move it to the B and see what happens. From what I have read, the relay is bitch to pull and put in...
PS- I think my switch is illuminated (outer ring) when the lights are off too but I think my original switch did the same thing. I know my fog indicators turn green when I turn them on too. |

On my switch though, it's the inner part of the switch that is on. not the outer, with the car started, lights off. |
