$350 + $25 install is the fee for 1.8T.

There's one in Calgary. You're either driving up there for the weekend or you send in your ECU by post. Or why don't you just email the Canada rep and see what your options are?

That's a good question. Might get similar increases with a K&N drop-in air filter with much less $$ out of your pocket. Did you search the 2.0 forum for performance upgrades? You could always drop on an Newspeed supercharger which is supposed to bump you up to 1.8T status (150Hp).

The horsepower rating is deceiving. They bump up the torque curve so the engine gets real peppy (almost like the TDI).

i for one have a chip and it knocked .07 seconds off my 1/4 mile. low end torq is good but once you chip it you wont see 125 mph ever agian. im just gunna charge it
