Default Bug Manual

LOL Is just me or is anyone else having trouble getting the VW owners manual in the glove box? It's so thick.
I have to wrestle with it everytime i take it out and try to place it back in the upper part of glove box made especially to put the manual. Any ideas?

I put mine binding side down in the bottom of the glove box...doesn't pop out, but takes up the entire box.

It's pretty useless anyway, thinking of taking it out and putting it in a box.

Mine fits nicely. Just make sure all of your pages are flat and not bent over which makes the manual extra thick. I put it the thick/not opening side in.

I take it the earlier model years don't have the shelf in the top of the glovebox?

They do have the shelf. I just have hard time getting glove box door to close.

What about stuffing it open-side-down next to the CD changer? That is, if you have a CD changer... I know that not everyone does.

You could also put it with the spare tire, but I'm not sure how you'd be able to fit it in there.

I took some of the sections out, the ones I use occasionally, and they sit on the bottom of the glove box. The book then fits perfectly in the slot.

I took some pages out and now it fits easier in the top shelf without having to try and force the glove box door to close.
