Starter has hard time turning engine....
I got ran off the street and ended up hitting the curb and going over it. Damage looks to be only to the body and wheels/tire, but later after I got it home it was more. I put a hole in the oil pan near the oil pump sprocket; the tie rod is bent; looks like the strut is damaged too, tire rubs against it; tore up the outer cv joint boot; don't know about drive axle, but from the force of impact, could it have damaged my torque converter.
The reason I ask is because the starter has a really hard time turning the engine over; smells like it getting hot. It's also hard to turn the engine over by hand in a few spots.
New battery; new oil pan. When I had the oil pan off, the oil pump chain and sprocket looked ok.
I'm at a point where I don't know if its worth fixing. Oh by the way, the RR tire and wheel was damaged beyond repair; the RF wheel is also damaged, the tire looks ok. I have pics but they are too large to post, I'll have to resize.
HELP? (on resize too)
