2. Sport Mode - Ignition "on" , Depress gas pedal "Twice" and release and then start engine.

Note I'm not 100% sure about what I'm about to say, maybe 50-75%.

Yes it will force it to go into "sport" mode, but if you drive it in, umm, a non spirited manner it will go back to the regular mode. You can force it to always be the the sport mode 100% with a vagcom, IIRC. It is an adaptive transmission and it reacts to how you drive it. I set mine for the sport mode (maybe 6 mos ago) and I prefer the way it is now compared to before. It shift later, but thats about all I notice.

I've got a buddy of mine comin' down to our g2g tomorrow with his VAG software,he said he'd lend it to me to switch my transmission over to sport mode, for he will not himself on anyone's car(liability).

Could someone please share directions as to how I'd do the switch myself? I've never used the software other then to help out with the trans fluid change.

Thanks

Arrg!!

I've got it down,so nevermind...I set it to 00011,any input on experiences? Seems to shift later, down shifting isn't much better, but the "slushbox" feels more *alive*...
