Help me find a new transmission?

I just bought a 2003 automatic 1.8T convertible two months ago at 45,000 miles and it needs a new transmission. Can someone help me find a transmission assembly for me? Is there a different transmission for the convertible than the hardtop?

Anything else I need to know, my local VW shop doesn't deal with transmissions so my friends are going to do it.

I don't really know what to say other than checking at junk yards for used transmissions, don't ever buy one from a company unless you check their records with the better business bureau, some companies will rip you off and give you a broken one, then you return it and pay restocking fee, then they send you another broken one.
