Default 5 sp auto ?

Hey all

So I know they never put a 5 sp auto in a bug , but was wondering if anyone has any info on the 5 sp tiptronic Vw used in the Jettas/golfs/gti. Im currently looking at a 2004 Jetta Wagon, equipted with a 1.8T and 5 sp auto.

They are probably one of the better VW automatics available other than the ZF box thats in the Passat. Definitely better than the 4 speed 01M and 6 speed 09G.

So if you want an automatic VW, that is probably your best bet.
