Default new clutch, flywheel now difficult to shift

After sitting for 2+ yrs. I finally found an affordable and reputable repair shop that specializes in foreign makes. They replaced the clutch and fly wheel and I drove it home.

Third day of driving and I've noticed that shifting is becoming increasingly difficult(never had a problem with shifting before).
It feels as if it is binding, no grinding noises. I have to just gently work it into gear.

Reverse is fine, 1st difficult, 2nd o.k., 3rd difficult, 4th o.k., 5th o.k. Neutral coming out of reverse is difficult.

Plan on taking it back but wanted some input before I do.

Thanks

Not really sure if its a giveaway really. But I know from driving 2 cars with shift linkages that needed adjustment that having a problem getting into gears can certainly indicate it. I've never done the adjustment myself, but there could be a DIY somewhere around here. Or if you have a Bentley manual.

I personally did have issues with 1st and 3rd mostly, but 5th at times too. My husbands old Passat sucked to get into 1st but that was really the only issue with his.

A coworker just asked if it could be shift forks? I told him I honestly don't know if it has shift forks. Anyone know?
