6sp compatibility
hey guys new to the beetle world
will the newer 09g work in a 2003-2004 new beetle with the old one i know the only diff is the valve body with the 2 press switches but will the computer know they are not there and give a code. Thanks found a realy good deal on one and would like to have a spare

Anything is possible, doesn't mean its a good idea or very practical.
Its not a very good transmission, you'd be better off gathering up the parts to swap it for a manual. Sent from my DROID2
