Anybody rebuild an automatic?
Just curious if anyone out there has (or is experienced with the) rebuilt a 4 speed auto. I have a '99 2.0 LTR and I am thinking about rebuilding the thing myself. I have rebuilt GM 4 speed auto's, but never touched anything else. So...if you know, special tools needed or any quirks, I would appreciate some advice.

The specialty tools alone are 3000 bucks, plus the hard parts are the expensive and not easy to find. So it's not cost effective to do so. Just swap it for a 5 speed and be done with it. Rebuilt 01M's never last long anyways.
