While diagnosing a Mass Air Sensor issue yesterday, My cluch peddle fell to the floor, and now I cannot shift. About 12 Months ago new cluch, pressuer plate and I think flywheel were repaird while on a trip to SC. Have not had any issues at all since that time. All fluids are new and clean.
I was able to "pull" the peddle back up, and tried bleeding out the system, but there is not enough "throw" for shifting. I removed and reinstalled the Slave Cylinder which seem loose, but that did not help. My son (primary driver) said the peddle had a hesitation comming back up that is different from usual. My question is, Is this a slave cylinder isse, a master cylinder issue, a combo of both , or a clutch/fork issue. I guess the old remove and replace will have to occur with the cylinders befor I drop the trans for a cluch inspection. ![]() |
