Cracked Auto Trans Pan!
its on a 07 vw beetle 2.5l type BPS...
need help with finding parts and a quick install help... right now ive found... filter and gasket set(orielly brand)- $23.99 Fluid $110-Dealership Pan $187-Dealership are these good price or is there a place i can get for cheaper? As far as install, does the pan take any special sealant with gasket? whats torque on pan? any tricky stuff with installing the filter? oh and i cant find the dipstick??? any special tools needed? Asking all this cause this will be the first german car i work on, other then that, im mechanically inclined, installed motors, trans, shafts, brake systems just about everything on american and some other foreign cars... any help appreciated, thx
