2002 VW BEETLE with 55k miles no reverse and cutting off 5 secs after driving
Posting this for a good friend of mine, she has a 2002 beetle turbo with AUTOMATIC that started having problems. First the reverse went out and about a month and a half later, the car will only drive for 5 seconds at a time and then stop. Its got 55k miles on it.
Any ideas on whats wrong with it?

Any lights on in the dash? What happens when the car shuts down (noises, electrical problems, etc)?
