P1780
Just pulled a few codes on our 2001 1.8t (AWV) with automatic trans. Not really sure what P1780 is - read somewhere that it is related to the shifter position sensor. There are no symptoms or problems with the tranny except that I need to have the fluid & filter replaced. Any advice?
The other codes are for the air pump (dead) and engine speed sensor. I am replacing both this weekend. Thanks, b
