Default new value body

We finally changed the valve body in the wife's NBC Turbo. Drives like a new car, tho it should after spending ~$1500. Anyway, I took the old valve body home with me. Does anyone know if there is a market for these old valve body's? Anyone refab them? Anyway I am happy to have this issue behind us.

Default Valve body

Where did you get the valve body? Is it new or remanufactured and is it a straight forward removal and install?

got it from vwdiscountparts.com. It was new in a VW box. They were the best deal. You need to call your dealer, give them your VIN and get the correct part number. Did not have to pay extra for core. I also bought the fluid, filter, gasket and new bolts from them as well. All in all about $1230 in parts.

Thumbs up Excellent!

I do hope you know that there is an extended warranty on these from VWofA.

VW will also reimburse if you had the work done elsewhere. You don't tell us your year or mileage, so...

Why not complete your information in the User CP, then we'll all know what it is you have, other than a NBCT?
