what the?
98 beetle, 3k rpm at 60mph in 5th gear. is this the standard gear ratio?

Tell us more about the make and model of your trailer; how did the beetle do? How is able to have pulling the trailer and what about hills? Inquiring minds want to know!

OMG! Ship Ashore! Smith River CA!! I am from Brookings, but in Portland area now. I have not seen the Ship Ashore in so long.
I love those pics, I even recognize HWY 199/197, redwood trees!

the trailer is a 1985 burro. it weighs 1000 lbs empty. with a few folding bikes and all the camping gear 1250. it towed great! most hills in 4th gear. i didn't take it over 60mph. the brakes worked just fine. i did buy a rear view camera for it(super cool)at autozone $100. the picture with the birds was at harris beach in brookings oregon. it was super fun and i will for sure do it some more
