3rd Annual Daytona 500 Party

[ok heres the scoop ,
since i cancelled the daytona 500 party ,
we decided to reschedule the party for the next big race on a super speedway ,, we're talkin talladega baby !!!

so on sunday april 27th we will have the
3rd annual daytona was canacelled so lets have a party anyway party

hopefuly it will be warm and sunny so we will be out front cleaning our babies up !,
we will have the race on inside !
the grill will be fired up !

and since spring is the time to do spring cleaning ,,
we will have the first annual nascar swap meet
bring your left over new beetle parts , toys , whatever new beetle related
we will spread it out on the basketball court and you can shop at your leasure so bring your extra cash to help the rest of us to clean out our extra goodies

the race starts at around 2 so we will open the doors at noon that give us time to clean our cars if you want or just hang out !

and dont forget ,,, there will be door prizes !!!!

WELL GUYS ,AS MUCH AS IT PAINS ME TO DO THIS , I MUST CANCEL THE RACE PARTY
my middle kid took a job with skybus at the end of last year , and she came in last night and surprised us with round trip tickets to san diego california the weekend of the party and the wifey has a long weekend that weekend so were off to california for 4 days

kathy sugessted having a race party for later race , since we had already bought race themed plates cups etc , so let me know what ya think about maybe a later race , sometime before it gets warm , ill check the schedule and see what races would be worthy of a party

sorry for any inconvienence (rick sorry especially to you since i know its a hassle to get off work )

As much as it pains me not to have this event to go to.......I hope you & Kathy have a great time!! I would much rather be in Cali too, somewhere in the San Fernando Valley or Palm Springs.
Let me know what other date you're looking at, it's always a great time at your place!!
