I like Alan's (buglover) idea of Niabi Zoo. It's near the Quad Cities (or in it, kind-of) and there's tons to do around here.

I also like the IKEA idea, but it'd be hard to stay together.

The Quad Cities has TONS to do here, but driving from one place to another could get dicey.

Kevin (overlander64) had some good ideas, too.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Fantastic.

I'd really like to get as many people or more that went to the last one. No offense, but I don't want to attend a GTG of four.

Smile Gtg??

I have an idea what if we get a group of people together kind of like last time but maybe we will meet like at a park to show off beets and play baseball?? Plus it will be warm out and fun.
Where is still the issue at hand but i had a blast last time.

Regardless, we must not neglect our cars by not treating them to a group car wash...

I believe my dad returns home from his bike ride across that US on the 9th, if so, I won't be able to attend. However, it's almost impossible to find a day that works for everyone.

Well......there are two other events listed.....

Ellen is close, weinerdude is close, mandujano is close....weren't there a couple of others from the Chicago area that cruised down to Pontiac???

The venue for the Vintage Picnic in Rockford would be perfect.....IMHO.

2 hours-ish for Callisto....
3 hours from Champaign...

We make both the Rockford & Crystal Lake shows each year. We don't enter but we show up The Rockford one is in a nice wooded setting.
