Now that we're just two weeks away, I guess we should start working out the details?

What time would you all like to meet up? 12:00?

I went last year on a Friday and it was getting parking at the house. However, going on a Saturday 2.5 weeks before Christmas, I think that will be out of the question.

Keep in mind this is smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood, so not much parking. I believe the Jolly Trolley shuttles people back and forth, but don't know the details of where you pick up said Trolley.

Any locals have some ideas?

we could all meet at a certain place and try to squeeze as many people into as little cars as possible to get down there, but I'll look at the trolley info too

Well, the house is on a VERY narrow street. So tough to navigate. Kind of more like alley ways than streets. So I'm a bit leary at the idea of trying to even consoldate the cars to get down there.

well I just got off the phone with the trolley people and we can get a trolley to take us down to the house at 22$ per person... Um I think we can drive

We should also probably try and figure out a place to eat afterwards, if people are so interested. I know last year we decided to wing it, and it was quite tough finding a place, not being familiar with the area.

The house isn't located in the nicest section of town, so choices were quite limited.

I vote for a safer place. We even used my navigation last year to try and find a place near the house, and couldn't find anything decent.

You guys are so lucky! I wish I lived closer! A Christmas Story is one of my most favorite movies of all time! And not just out of Christmas movies. I'm talking ALL movies Vinny too. We would love to see the house, and hang with you guys.
