Michigan GTG

The weather is starting to warm up (or at least we can hope!!)... anyone wanna start thinking of a NB GTG???

I was thinking late March... give it a few more weeks to warm up. Maybe Saturday, March 28th... in the Kalamazoo area??

If I see there's at least SOME interest.. I'll look into where we could all meet up. Maybe the new Sonic... now that we actually have one! The food is very very yummy.

I may be game for this. We have a place near South Haven so it's not much out of the way really. Not sure about the 28th though. I'll have to look into getting off.

Well be on the lookout for me, I'll be in the Kalamazoo area March 22 - 25th!!! Glad to see my home town area doing a GTG I love my Michiganders!!!

the only real "free" or open schedule day I have is Tuesday the 24th! Though I'm sure you'll see me throughout the week. I will be between Allegan, Gobles, South Haven, Bangor, Portage, Kalamazoo, Dorr, Schoolcraft...and the such. lol Covering most of Southwest Michigan.

Well when you hit Gobles... do a "where's Herbie" search. *giggles* JK

If others are okay with a weekday... we can maybe see about a GTG for Tuesday... otherwise we can still shoot for the weekend for the "official" GTG, and maybe we can just meet up while you are going back and forth from here and there. LOL

I'm sure it won't be too hard to find Herbie in Gobles. LoL it's only so big!!! I'll definitly find some time to squeeze in my schedule to meet with a great NB owner!

too bad i dont have a Vw anymore Kzoo is about 2.5 hours northwest ( not too bad ) . PLus i really can't afford to take time off work right now le sigh I miss GTGs and my bug

Well other than the not being able to take time off... you coulda still came! We wouldn't turn you away! At least I wouldn't. LOL

Yeah, I count myself very lucky. We've had it in the family about 25 years. Well, we had to demolish the old one & build new about 15 years ago but we did tons of the work ourselves.

Our place is by the 109th / pullman exit.


I'll probably be running up there real soon as we now have no heat(lp ran out again) I will most likely be bug less as I'm having coil problems with Chip My SIL might go instead though.

Checking in to see if we are still on for a GTG... and what ya'll have in mind. So far we have someone who has a place in South Haven, and someone who will be in my area.

Unless there is more interest to keep it in Kalamazoo... we could possibly move it a little closer to Gobles and South Haven. What do you guys think?
