Rockford Area GTG

Kinda short notice, but this Sunday the 6th of March, some of the local guys and I are having a small GTG at Rock Cut State Park. We're trying to get some more interest in VAPOR (Volkswagen Audi Partnership Of Rockford). Doesn't help that the site just went down the other day...

Anyway, we're also doing a bigger one on March 26th at the same place. Pretty sure there's not too many people on the Org in this area, but I know Huck and Opelmania are in the surrounding area.

The GTG this weekend is:

When - Sunday, March 6th @ 1:30pm
Where - Rock Cut State Park @ The big parking lot at the lake
Food? - BYOF (Although I've been contemplating bringing some pizzas to share)


The next GTG on March 26th is going to be about the same deal I think. We've set on that date, not sure what time yet. Pretty sure we're gonna cruise to get food afterwards.

VAPOR is planning on getting back into the swing of things, and do some Dyno Days and Cruises and other things of that nature this year and hopefully years to come.

Sorry I missed you on Sunday Trae. I ended up going to my brother's house for steak dinner. Just made those plans that day. I would have came out. I will definitely make it on the 26th. I will see if I can drum up another nB from the area. He lives in Elk Grove, but he is usually up for a cruise. I'll pm him.

Not to hijack this thread, but if you guys do get together on the 26th, why don't you cruise down to Wheaton for the swap meet? There will be some New Beetle items for sale....
