Chicago Auto Show 2012 Who's going?

so I found out today that Generac does alot of mandatory OT on staurdays if the production numbers are behind for the week. I hope I dont have to work on this planned sat. but if I do either it will just be casey or we will go on sunday.

Has it been decided where people will meet, and when? I plan on leaving Eau Claire, Wi sometime Friday afternoon and taking my time getting to a motel somewhere within an hour or so of the CAS. Where that may be, I don't know yet.

as of right now you can meet at my place. Unfortunetly I wont know If I get to go onsunday untill the day or two before. I would call in sick if I did have to work but thats not smart during the probationary period. Anybody know of a good placed to meet up at CAS or in chicago?

So, who is all going to the CAS next weekend?? It is looking like we are going on Sunday unless Scott finds out he doesn't have to work

And Joel, you should talk to Scott, I am pretty sure we will be crashing at your place on Saturday night if that is still an option but not positive and you 2 confuse me so you should talk to each other

I have to work on Saturday so that's a no-go for me. Not sure if I would go that following Sunday or just wait until the 18th and go with Jeremy. I might end up going to Cirque de Solei Saturday the 11th. Friend's bd on Valentine's day and she is only off Wed and Sat nights. I couldn't have more going on the 11th if I tried.

As it turns out now, I'll be going Sunday the 12th instead of Saturday the 11th. My local VW club has decided to hold a meeting Saturday, so I can't leave Wisconsin until it's over. As a club officer, I better show up. So....to anyone there Sunday, I'm a slightly short 5'8" 52-year-old guy, light brown mixed with gray hair cut fairly short (My hippie days are over), a gray goatee and little round John Lennon glasses. I'm neither handsome nor hideous, and of average build.

I'm very anxious to talk with some reps.

Looks like I am going on Sunday the 12th as well. My brother has to work on Saturdays and he wants to tag along. So it looks like Sunday for me as well. Since he is not an early riser I probably won't make the show until sometime early afternoon on Sunday. Just look for a couple of 6'2" 260 lbs guys. Usually we are hard to miss

I will be going out on Saturday night after a super long week at work and to clebrate my friend's bd. I will try to make it on Sunday. If I do end up going, I would imagine I would show up towards the afternoon. Next weekend would've worked out much better for me.

Joel I REALLY hope you make it (especially since we didn't get to hang out last month) the reason we wanted to go this weekend is because there will be more goodies and stuff

AND, for everyone who will be attending on Saturday coming from Wisconsin, you are more than welcome to meet Scott and I at our place and drive down with us, we haven't decided on a time yet but I am gonna say late morning
