Hi,
I live north of you in Cedar Grove. I have Daisy Bug, a 1998 yellow with daisy wheels and daisy graphics. I've attended all of the shows in Roswell, NM and plan on attending the Tail of the Dragon this April-May. I love my New Beetle but to keep her safe from all the salt that WI puts on the roads, I store her. I would love to get together with you for a cruise in the spring. Consider joining the Tail of the Dragon cruise. Lisa |

i am so happy somebody finally responded to this thread, I am doing the same, unfortunetly late in the winter. I am purchasing a truck this week to keep Bridgette of the streets. I have considered joining the tod, but don't even know if i will make it to talimena this year due to a low budget (but it does keep going up). if you know anyother wis beetls owner, convince them to join the org.

Hi all -
Figured I might as well post up - been a lurker for awhile, but am in need of some help! Was on the VENOM forum since they are Milwaukee based (I think) - they referred me to this forum, so I joined up! I've got a '98 NB I'm picking up later in the week - previous owner put it up over a high curbing and messed the rocker panel up on the passenger side, as well as cracked the front fender on the passenger side and busted the grille. She's a dirty beater right now, but drives straight and runs strong - couldn't pass up a bargain. Make a long story short, I am anticipating replacing the grille, front bumper and adding a set of side skirts. Can anyone direct me to an aftermarket vendor for body kits here in our area? I've done a bunch of research and found on-line vendors like AIT, JP, JT, VIS and Extreme Dimensions; while these panels are relatively cheap, I'm having a hard time with the shipping charges - anyone have a clue where I might start? Hope to be able to contribute once I get up to speed with the new Bug - used to ride to school in my buddy's Mom's '65 - bombed around a lot in my brother's '68 Squareback back in the day. This is my first VW; this car just rocks - didn't have near as much fun in my 1968 Austin America or my rustbucket 1974 MG Midget - this Bug is much more refined than those two! Thanks for having me!
