ok all you cheesehead beetl lovers out there, I found this group on the vortex and thought that I would share it with you. the group is European Enthusiast of Wisconsin, there is no website for this group, but they are on the vortex and on face book. they are opedn to all euro cars, but it seems to be mostly all vw's. I am meetinthem for the first time this sunday at the lake mills car show (sunday may 16). more info to come if anybody is interested (the group is mainly consisted of people in the madison area)

ok, maybe some pictures will convince some of you people near or around madison. here are some pictures from "cars and coffee" its more of a high end local cruise, but we went anyway.

for those not doing anything this saturday we are having a devisl lake cruise. on facebook it is the spring beat feat and eat cruise Welcome to Facebook | Facebook

we are also going to dubs in the valley up in oshkosh coem august 6/7

eurowerks is june 12. some of us are going to that also

i LOVE that roof rack mod so i can assume you can re-do the floor pans easily

i also love the clean looking scirocco fs...


that row of porsches... is nice too, i guess...

the roof rack is a pretty genieous idea, except when somebody forgets to unhook from it and ends up rolling the car over (wasnt me). the roof is highly fixable (only a small wrinkle) and the windshield needs to be replaced, but a guy in my car club has a spare.

the floor pans are really easy to do, you only have to strip the interior (to prevent fires) and remove the brake lines.

only $1800 for the scirrocco

I was really hoping to see a porsche 914 because that a vw at heart

there was still a large turn out to the show. sadly I did not see any new beetles there.
