I'll be there! I have a hotel room booked for Saturday and Sunday nights (it's too far to drive home Sunday night after the show - I learned my lesson after H2O last year and almost falling asleep driving on 95)!

I am looking to modify my 06, do you think they will have tons of stuff and cars, Or should I wait for the big beetle show? Where is the big beetle show by the way??

I don't think I've ever heard of a big beetle show. Any specifics? This show will definitely have tons of cars, and lots of parts. Based on what I've seen you post before, you're looking mainly for a body kit for an 06+ and I don't think I've ever seen those at any show.

I recieved my packet last week but my buddy still hasn't gotten his. Not sure on what they are doing with sending these out. Hope you get it and see you down there.

i'm heading down early this morning and will have my laptop and internet at the hotel - i'll see what info i can find out about the missing registration packets. apparently the main contact has posted on vortex that he's not reachable...

someone down there has to be able to do something if you bring your receipt.

the same group that ran h2oi is running dubs on the beach; and if i remember correctly if you registered after a certain date they didn't mail the packets, you had to pick them up at the show. hopefully that's the case this time.

Nah, they said at Vortex that they were no pick-ups. Argh, this isn't right, esp if there's alot of people getting screwed over by it. Are you going to the BBQ today? I know he'll be there. Generally a small turnout at Dubs at the Beach - 150 registered show cars - but they said that this was still larger than the showfield at Dubs at the Beach. There were 3 new beetles present - 2 stock - my Lady took 1st and a girl named Jessica from NC took 2nd (don't believe she's on the org - or at least on this thread)- and 1 mod - N8Z (1st obviously).
