The Miles family who put on the Super Jam events I assume has decided to call it quits for good and turned the event over to the South Eastern Volkswagen Association and K&L Motorsports. So the 2nd event for 2008 will now be run by them and will keep the same date that Super Jam set aside, September 21st. There will be 30+ classes for both air and water cooled cars(I'm working on getting the NB class back), drag racing, a test n' tune, swap vendors, food, and much more. The event will be held at Pittsburgh Raceway Park which is about 20-30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. I've attached the flyer for everyone. Let your friends know about the event. It's open to all VWs.

Hi to Herbie, Elwood and the Gang. Oh- I missed the Grand Prix as well this year- was in upstate New York for a vintage trailer show with the Puck. Will plan on going to Billco, too. Isn't this a bit far north for SEVWA? I used to go to all the IVWA shows in the south that they took over.

bummer same weekend as the toledo bugfest , closer and cheaper to show and swap , cheap wins this year , hope this show is bigger than the last one miles had , and at least they are making sure the vendors know what the cost is and wont try to change it once your in the gate , good luck and i hope your club can make a good show out of it in the future ,, maybe next year if it falls on another weekend , usally the end of the month is always busy

Yeah the Super Jam people just gave up on the Super Jam shows(I think the one in June was the last one ever). So SEVWA took over the September event.
