i'll be there showing - last official show of the year - lady wants to get out again... after we work on that wet towel smell that's still lingering from h2oi of course...
this is also the show where i usually find out about the vw toys for tots drive in philly...

Dumb question - I don't see anything on their site about registration. Is this just a show-up-and-pay-at-the-gate? I'm still trying to decide whether I'm going - probably will.
I've been waiting patiently (NOT) for an order to come in from Germany; I really wanted to have the mod done for this show, but even if the order comes in this second, I don't think there's time to get the re-wiring, re-lighting, body work and installation completed.  Guess it'll just have to be part of Miss Ruby's . . . RE-DO!!!

I wanna go, but its a haul from Pa and I gotta cahnge my brake pads, ive been procrastinating and my top is broken on both sides, so I wont be able to go topless. I still havent been able to find a new center dashboard either, but If I go it might just be to watch and I might bum a ride with someone

Just finished loading up and will be heading out in a couple of hours. Taking a nice, leisurely weekend for myself.

hoping it clears up a little bit so i can get a good wash and wax in and get lady undercover before tomorrow. i'll be there - but probably won't be making the rounds very much - i'm in the middle of midterm grading - yuck!

congrats to all who showed as everyone that was ther won trophies.
new beetle stock.... Lady bug- 1st place some random silver bug- 2nd place new beetle modified.... Guy named kevin- 1st place miss ruby- tied 2nd place joe(from newbeetle.org) tied 2nd place some random silver bug- tied 3rd place myself- tied 3rd place i didnt get a chace to take any pics as i forgot to charge my battery. maybe some of the other org members took some and will get a chance to post up what they got. all in all a very good day. a bit on the chilly side, but nothing that a blanket wrapped around you couldnt fix. once again, CONGRATS to all who won!!!!!!

It was a great day - lots of fun. COLD and WINDY but fun. Good seeing you again Dana (hope you got all of your papers graded!), and it was so nice to meet Randy and Kate, and Joe; glad you all decided to come out. Gina, sorry you couldn't make it - hope you're feeling better.
The announcer said at one point there were over 1,700 cars showing - the largest Show-N-Go they've ever had. Don't know if that's true, but there were LOTS!!!! There were some SICK paint jobs (gave me more ideas  ) and I got a chance to talk to some really cool people, so how could the day be anything but a blast?!!? Dana - I'm hoping you have pictures, as I didn't get any of yours (SORRY  ), the stock "random silver bug," or Teddy from Yonkers (the modified "random silver bug").Pictures (from modified): A bug named Debbie, shown by Steve, owned by Kevin - 1st place  PzwoTDI, shown by Joe - 2nd place, tie  silver01beetle, shown by Randy, accompanied by Kate - 3rd place, tie  Miss Ruby, shown by me - 2nd place, tie  Yeah, like Randy says, CONGRATS TO ALL!!!!!
