I actually didn't stay anywhere, lol. I went down only for the day with my brother. I know I saw Harlequin Pixie briefly when we were leaving h20, and I saw Kitty's NBC . I was in the city briefly before we took our drive back home to get something to eat. I had my inserts on my beetle today, not my checkered bra. (Which I still need to wash my car and get super awesome photos of my NB with the inserts on sometime soon...)

But yeah! I was rather surprised to only see like 5 NB's in the entire show. I was kinda sad since I was originally planning to show had it not been a last minute decision to go down for the day like it was. Maybe next year!

...but now I need to see if I can somehow work TotD into my busy schedule

There weren't many NBs around at all. I was there, parked in club parking though. Didn't make it to the meet either...ended up at the Boardwalk. Saw Ladybug's car and Kitty's NBC!

i only visited my car a few times to drop off stuff, but my friend's silver MK5 rabbit was next to it and he said he heard a lot of people come by and comment that it was my car, lol.

Yeah, we'd just picked up some wheels that Ollie bought from someone and were browsing Beetles in the general parking area when we spotted you.. It was actually your wheels that I spotted first, though! they looked good!

hmm i wonder. as we walked up to leave there were people looking at it, we got in, chatted with my friends in the car next to us and left. might have been you right there.

The wife and I got there about 7, hung out almost an hour, then went to dinner. That CG VR6, did it have roof racks? I saw a CG as I was leaving the show on Sunday.

Nope, no roof rack on the green one. it had a black roof and black painted stock wheels.

I plan to actually be down the entire weekend next year. I was rather sad I didn't get to go for the entire weekend, but things happen. Hopefully next year it wont be rainy! I think every year I've been there besides the very first time I was there ( 4 shows ago now?) there has been rain rain rain!

The rain wasn't too bad though. Rained while we were driving in around 10:30 but stopped by the time we parked in club parking. Poured for about 15 minutes later on, but thats it. A lot of people left when it started raining, but it was clear after that until after the show was over. Kept the temps cool too. I think the weather was nearly perfect.

heh.. the rain during the show wasn't bad at all, I thought. Think I'd rather put up with 15 minutes of heavyish rain then weather like at BugOut back in May.. holy heck was it hot.

the rain on sunday night, however... dear goodness. Poor tent couldn't keep up with it.

True. This year wasn't too bad with rain. I remember 2 years ago it was pouring down off and on all weekend. I still have my VW poncho from that year.

hehe. glad we managed to pick up a VW umbrella from their giveaway tent, though.
