Default Time Trailing at Summit Point - April 19th

Yep, I will be down at Summit Point Raceway with EMRA this weekend, April 19th, driving my pod around the Shenandoah circuit.

Would be great to see some fellow Beetle owners come out and watch the best car show in town. Nice folks too, you can walk right up and talk with anyone in the club between run groups.

Click on my sig below to learn more about EMRA. Here is the addy to Summit Point if you need driving directions.
Summit Point Motorsports Park
2026 Summit Point Road
SummitPoint, WV 25446
Hope to see you there!!

What group are you running in? I have some things I need to do in the morning but will probably swing by after that. Maybe I can get some photos of you passing everyone.

Do you know if there is a spectator fee?

WERA is racing on one of the other tracks so it's probably going to cost $25 to get in.

Should be in run group #3. We have four sessions throughout the day, with timed laps at the end.

If you go through the driver's entrance, and tell them your there for EMRA, I believe you just sign the waiver and your in.

Would be great if you guys could come out to the track on Saturday.

Hey Larry,

Great to see you yesterday. Too bad Peggy couldn't make it, as it would have been nice to see her as well.

When you get a chance, please post up some of the pics you took yesterday so everyone can have a chance to enjoy the action.

BTW, took second place in class with a 1:56:23 on the 1.9 mile layout that included 14 turns. Beat out all but one of the race prepped Miata's in my class...

Peace......TechnoTrix'd...

Holy Crap! This is like 10 minutes from my house, lol. If only I could have made it. Didn't know about it until today.

Berryville is just up the street from us. We are in Shannondale (just outside Charles Town). If you plan on doing any of the get-togethers give us a shout; we might travel with you.

Unfortunately I was distracted by the bikes on the main circuit. It's a little hard to get good shots on the Shennandoah Track so I switched to the bikes.

Shots of the other racers are up on MyRideisMe.com

Oh, you are there as well.
