Attn Georgia and Surrounding Areas...NB GTG to raise money for Alzheimers

Hey guys, I'm thinking of having a NB GTG to help raise awareness for Alzheimer's. My mom works in hospice in Athens and is thinking of some fundraising ideas. I thought maybe you all would be interested in getting together. I need to know if there is a big interest before I have all the details. It can be NB or any VW that's fine. So let me know if you are interested, I'll get all the details figured out and give you more information. You don't have to be from Georgia, if you want to come..come! So let me know and we'll get something worked out. I think it'll have to be done before November of this year. Thanks you guys and I think it'll be a good turn out and good fun!!!

All right well here's a new update on the whole situation. My mom, as I've said before, works for hospice. They are doing a 5K walk/run and motorcycle ride event and will be raffleing off a quilt that my aunt will make to raise money. My mom has asked her group CSCC (Chrysler Sebring Convertible Club) to have a GTG as well. My mom mentioned that we were trying to get something together as well and someone there suggested that maybe both groups could get together. I know with a nice day in GA there will be LOTS of convertible drivers who will want to show off their cars. So I wanted to see what everyone thought of VW's and Chrysler's getting together for one event. You can bring items that maybe you're trying to sell and if you make a profit feel free to donate, etc. Like I said, everything is still in the works. I think we're going to be having it somewhere in Athens though. Probably not down town due to space but who knows. I first need to know who's interested. I need a decent size group. (I would hate for the Chryslers to outnumber the VWs ) So please let me know if you are interested, or if you know anyone who is...then we can get the ball rolling with this thing!!! I look forward to it.

I will certainly try to be there. After all I own a Chrysler and a VW. The VW is much more fun to drive, so I will drive that and my family to Athens.
