Things are still looking good for Val and I attending. I've gotta replace the cooling flange on Cup- doing it this weekend. Other than that, I see no glitches in our plans.

Will submit a post-flange report by the end of the weekend

Toad...maybe we can hit that VAG-COM. DHVW says Aphid's cat has failed, but CEL went off. Believe it or not, I'd rather not spend the $800+ for a new one if she'll pass the emission test.

Yup, pedro is real cool and knows everything. And I'm pretty sure he's booked around the clock. I don't know how he odoes all that work out of his garage, but I know who to talk to if I ever get into trouble.

Alright ya'll, I've gotten quite a few 'maybe' answers....Let's make them a "yes" instead! I want this GTG to be just as awesome if not better than last year (though I don't think it has much competition since last year we just parked and chatted lol but it was still fun). This year we're cruisin', checking out micro cars, then headed back for some techin' and chillaxin'.....(I know I'm corny).

I gotta question, are you planning on having a morning cruise from the atl area to the museam?

We can do that. The museum doesn't open until 10am so it's not going to be a super early morning cruise. Depending on where we meet, would depend on how soon we need to meet up. I was hoping we could be there by 10/10:30 so that we could take our time at the museum without it getting too late. Then we could all cruise back to Atlanta to your place for some more relaxed time or tech time.

Well I haven't heard any definates yet as to what's gonna go on at my place afterwards. So I guess we can just party. I do have some reetro mod material under my sleeve if it comes to that. I have enough to prolly do 2 bugs

UPDATE:

Chances are looking slim for Cup and the rest of us. Looks like Her water pump is gone...again. I think it's that freeze plug they have on the pump that crapped out. Anyhoo, I've got to get another one installed. While i'm in there i'm gonna get the whole shabang done again- 60,000 miles since the last replacement. This is taking a chunk out of my GTG budget and i don't want to miss the TOD. Still, i'm gonna try my best to make it. I've got big love for you guys and would really hate missing you all.
