Well, we already have a "Southeast Region monthly "meet N eat" thread that anyone is welcome to post to. Folks that replied are most likely subscribed and would receive an e-mail that the thread had been updated. Not every Orger is on here daily checking the front page for updates. Not sure if there really is any new enthusiasm for such a thing on a semi regular basis tho. While I'd love nothing more than to see a bunch of nB's at a GTG, unless you plan it for convenience (location, day & time) you won't generate more than a few. Just my experience and $.02

The "Southeast Region Monthly Meet N Eats" wasn't my first attempt to get us together. I started this thread Calling all South Carolina NB peeps
After 2+ months of bumping with advance notice, hundreds of views, it was Denise, myself, Mombug and her daughter in attendance. Four freaking people, people!! I know this isn't the days of the "old Org" where enthusiasm ran rampant, but I still expected more.

I'd love to meet up with everyone! I think this Southeast Group is much stronger than before. I remember when I tried my first Georgia GtG in Savannah. Didn't work out so well and I cancelled it. Then again, that's when gas hiked up to $4.00 a gallon or so. But that following Feb, I tried again. I got 13 cars...2 of which weren't even nB's!!! So I was pretty stoked about that!

When is Shonnell officially gonna be in Florida? Anyone know? Maybe we can throw her a "welcome to the Southeast" GtG or something? Just a thought.

I'm proud to say that I was a part of that swanky event. You are talking about the Stone Mountain GtG, right???

Yup. My first GtG was Stone Mountain!! I was so proud of that event!!! And thank you Al (and Val) for being there. It was nice to see people from out of state come to an event I planned. We actually had a lot of out-of-staters at that GtG!!

Yup, quite a few out of staters for sure. I personally believe (lol... Ms teen america just popped in my head "i personally believe...) that Your Stone Mountain GtG and Gary's Savannah Meet and Eat GtG was the catalyst for the SE GTG fever and fueled the maiden voyage for TOD. So Michelle, your GtG was a lot bigger than you realized.

I honored to know my Stone Mountain GtG was a hit! If it set the basis for ToD, then I'm happy!

Looks like the Southeast is growing and fast. I mean, soon we'll have Shonnel and Joey too!!! Can't believe it!

The Southeast is going to be the place for GtG's for sure! I mean, I do Stone Mountain in Feb, ToD is in May, St. Auggie in Sept, then there is always Savannah Meet 'n Eat. Seems like we got a big GtG every couple months, which is fantastic! I'm so proud of how big this region has got and how many dedicated orgers we have too!! Good times are sure to come. No doubt about that!!
