Arrow monthly or so atl area gtg

So, I know this was talked about at the gtg last month and everyone seemed to like the idea od a regularly occuring gtg, so let's get to planning it!

What's everyones opinion on when it should happen and where we should hang out.

I got a poll running, if you vote, please post with your opinion.

What id like to see is something biweekly or monthly where we can just hang out and catch some grub, maybe do some modding or maintnence if anyone needs something done.

Id like to see this happen Friday afternoon/night or Saturday. Day/afternoon.

So who knows of a great place to eat that has a prety decent sized parking lot? I went to a red robin down here and it was a nice place to chill. Or we could alweays just chill in my backyard, or rotate yards

So everyone, let's get this organized!

Locations of Suggested Places:

Toad's house: Mableton, GA
Michelle's house: Auburn, GA
Mellow Mushroom: Dacula, GA?
Red Robin: Lawrenceville, GA
Li Lo's Mexican: Austell, GA

Added 3/8/2010 4:51pm:
I'm going to put everyone's ideas onto this map. So come on people, we need suggestions!!!

Beat me to it. lol I was going to start a post like this as well.

I voted Monthly. I know everyone has a busy schedule and sometimes a weekly thing is hard to pull off, at least with large numbers. I'm ok with either Friday night or Saturday. But I think most people work Friday's so they might want some time to relax after working...I don't know.

As far as, what to do. Um, I like a little wrenching and some good food. I like to compare my car to others as well as look it over every once in awhile. I don't really have a yard, but my mom is usually gone for the weekends, and I live on a culdasac so, there would be parking available. I do have a garage, but limited on tools. Now, I know it doesn't sound great, but there IS a Mellow Mushroom near my house which I am VERY proud of. LOTS of parking space there and man the food is frickin' good there tooo! LOVE it. There is also the Great Escapes Movie Theatre by me too. So maybe if we come out this way, if we opt against wrenching, I've got Pizza and Movies near by! Plus tons of other shopping stuff. And there is the new Skate Park. It has basketball, walking trails, half pipes, etc. Pretty sweet actually. But that's an option. Again, I vote Mellow Mushroom at least. LOVE that place. Not many people know it's up here cause it's kinda hidden and I'd HATE for it to go out of business, so I tell EVERYONE I know lol

So yeah, lets do this monthly!

A mothly mellow mushroom gtg would definately be doing it atl style. I've only had mm twice. They're a lil pricey but they're phenominal (the same applies to red robin).

The only downside about my driveway is that it looks treacherous. But its not bad, if you can make it over speed humps id assume you could make it down my driveway

No clue. I know I've been AWOL a bit, but I'm back so no worries. Still waiting on the suspension. If we wait long enough, maybe we can do a GtG at your place again to help me put on my new suspension! HAHA

I went to a great mexican place thats like 5 mins from my house on the corner of austell rd and the e-w conn. They serve a lunch buffet and its really gooood and hella cheap (like 8 bux a person with drink!)!!!!! That would make a great lil hangout/lunch gtg before wrenching

Just a suggestion. Sonics. cheap. simple. and you have the ability to stuff your face while checking out mods to someones car. if you are stuck inside a restaurant you cant even see the cars. just something to think about.or just make it the meet up spot then drive somewhere after everyone get there. even then you get meeting.driving .eating.

this

is way more fun than this

just speaking from experience.

I'll never make one, but I would think Bi-monthly would be good as it won't burn out as fast if you keep going to the same place over and over again.

Monthly would work if you were to use several locations and rotate through them from time to time.
