LOL you're crazy Gary!

Yes, yes ya'll....Suspension parts are in! Defender plate was installed today....Thank you Toad! Looks like suspension upgrade is still on for April 10th. I'm gonna try to have the car on stands and wheels off Friday night in preparation. So, what's a good time for everyone?.

Default New shocks and struts

Michelle,

I live to far away or I would help ya. I am in the process of doing my shccks and struts too.. I have only done the rear ones and they were pretty easy. I figured I would have had to compress the springs but I didnt. Just jack the car up, put it on stands, take off rims, and there you go. Three bolts and the old shock is out. Swap or install new shock mount and install in reverse order. Its pretty easy.. I think you can tackle the rears at least. I will let you know about the front struts after I get them done..

Marc

Thanks Marc! Rears sound simple enough because the strut and spring are separate. I blessed Toad with the task of completing the strut assembly...so come Saturday it'll be easy to install I'm not worried about the strut assembly...I'm more worried about removing the ball joints and control arms and bushings and all that good junk! lol And then of course finding the funds to get an alignment to make sure it's all straight......

................ah the joys of upgrades............

Whatever time folks want to start is fine with me. We have out of town company to drive to the airport that morning, but my wife has said that she can do it if the start time is early. It sounds like Toad is the main man, so maybe he should call the
time!

Thanks Tim. We're thinking about starting early, like 9am/10am ish. I know that's early for a lot of you. Which is fine. I'm hoping to have the car up and on stands with the wheels off Friday night. Just to speed things up a bit. I think we'll plan to start at 9am. But things won't officially start til probably 10am or 11am. But whatever time you can get there is great! Let me know if you plan to come, I'll give you my phone number and my address. Looking forward to this. I can't wait!!!!!
