Sry I am at work.. lol.. Snuck my lap top.. We will be staying in Pigeon Forge.. We will get up there Monday afternoon but give me some time to sleep because we are leaving when I get off at 7:30am Monday morning.. lol.. We will have to leave Friday afternoon too because I have to be back at work Friday night.. I was going to call out Friday because I am off Saturday and Sunday but I can't afford to loose my job.. lol.. I will be driving up there which ever way the lady on the gps tells me to because I get lost very easily.. lol.. I am excited now that I may get to meet some bug lovers

thought i would give this a bump and see if any one had a idea for a date i was thinking about on a friday after noon meet up like 3 or something on one end or the other. and just do a half day of some thing i would really like some more input.

Well I think that this friday is a little to soon. I think that we should have at least a month so that people can plan. We just need to pick a day and stick with it about a month ahead. I have a lot of stuff to do at my dads house to get it done so i need at least a month.

Don't forget the VW show in Cherokee August 13th, 14th, & 15th.
I'll be the Disc Jockey at the event so when you get to Cherokee tune your radios to 98.3 FM.

Hello! I was referred to this thread from SixChuter's thread. What, exactly, is "Tail of the Dragon"? Is it a stretch of road? I'm still pretty new to all this vdub stuff, but am trying to learn as much as I can about the cars, get-togethers, and all that good stuff!

I'm sure the link below is the thread SixChuter was referring to. It is the "offical" Tail of the Dragon GTG & cruise that he and his wife attend annaly. I've also included a picture link from th 2K10 ToD GTG.

BTW, i'm not taking away from Fuzzy's dragon thread. He is putting together a more local, one day cruise. The official ToD is a 3 day event designed to draw people from further distances. And yes, the Tail of the Dragon is a stretch of road that we include in a tour loop to also include the Cherohala Skyway.

It is cool i am so hipped up for TOD 2K11 and the more we get for the week end next year the better maybe we will not fit in the same spot
