Flbug invades Alabama and Georgia

I have two family reunions that are on two weekends and i got the week in the middle of from work.

I'm leaving Miami, Fl on July 9th and driving north to Montgomery (Prattville), Alabama. I'll be there all of the that weekend and possibly most of that week afterwards.

Then the following weekend (16-19) i'll be driving over to Atlanta (Stone Mountain), Georgia. Since i'll be in the area, why not make some sort of Georgia-Alabama Org Reunion?

Any ideas anyone?

Also, any advice for a long roadtrip? According to google maps, its just about 1,600 miles. Timing belt & waterpump done, oil change next weekend, and less than 10k miles on tires. Anything else i should check?

It sounds like Titan is road ready mang. Should be a great trip. Give MichelleRoze a PM. I'm sure she can cook up a choice GTG for you while you're up in GA.

And you know, If possible, I can meet up with you on your return trip from Georgia. Hit me up with your travel plans and let's see what we can do.

Sounds great! I think its a perfect time too as we'll be just finishing things up at the reunion too

I have a chemistry exam that i can NOT miss on Tuesday between the weekends so i am cancelling my days off for the week and second weekend to Georiga.

I will only be visiting Alabama on July 8th-July 11th

Still I can meet up with you. I'm guessing you'll be taking 75 up to I-10 right? If that's the case, I can meet up with you in Lake City. Just let me know when you'll be heading back.

Sure thing! I'm planning turnpike (ugh. $20 in tolls ) to I75. This straight into Valdosta, Ga. Then from there its a state road (i forget off the top of my head) that takes me through Albany, Ga and then into the Alabama Border and most way to Prattville. Mostlike will be the same route back too.

I wish i could copy and paste a picture of the highlighted map, but i never figured out how to do that! Even with PRTScrn

Do you have PhotoShop or PaintShopPro? You can go to the map, then hit the "copy screen" button on your computer. You'll then bring up the Photoshop/PaintShopPro screen and right-click. you should have a "paste as a new layer/picture. That should do it for you.
