Yeah, kinda short for the org masses beyond the Jacksonville borders- sorry. We've been rolling the idea round here in Jax for the past few weeks. We have commitments and will have a good showing to boot. I did forget one Jax dubber, Des- breakfast is on me next time man.
Just wanted to make it official and post it here. I will give you all adequate notice on the next B4B GtG.

It will be up hopefully this evening. I'm gonna try and scratch a quickie graphic for the thread. Worse case, i'll have the graphic up later- the thread will be up for sure. I've gotta go recon again this week on accommodations.

Wish you, and many of my other beetle buds coulda been there. It was agreed unanimously that B4B will be a monthly event. And it looks like the First Coast Grill & Deli will be B4B central, which is great- it's right on the roadside. We had about 3 nB sightings this morning and i'm sure we will have more joining the group. Following B4B, Val and I took a drive up A1A, up to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. We met a mother who's daughter owns an nB, and we told her about the B4B and the org.... and you know I gave her a tag. She sounded pretty exctied and said they'll join the org!

It's cool to have Bugs for Breakfast back!

Here's an interesting photo taken after the July B4B.

Val and I took a leisurely drive up A1A to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. While in Fernandina Beach, We passed this car, which I though was a shortened squareback, rockin some serious meat- I'd say they were at least m50's. Anyhoo, as Val and I turned Cup around, dude blew his horn and threw a wave at us. I was like..."cool" I got a wave from a squareback driver". I was hoping to see him as we parked for a walk in downtown Fernandina Beach.

As we walked up one side of the street, browsing along the way, we crossed the street, to return on the opposite side. As we approached Cup, lo and behold the squareback was parked right beside Cup. Much to my surprise, this car was no squareback. Here's the pics and I hope you all can tell me who made this, because i'm totally stumped. And I thought I knew a little something about cars

Good looking out mang, thanks!

Amazing how Ford went full circle with that name, escort- the 1960 version is way better. John I don't even think that the rear end is a narrowed 9"... looks waaay too narrow. What do you think?

Now that we know that the B4B will be a monthly event, we need to figure out which Saturday we want to do this. Any Saturday but the 2nd Sat. works for me.

Sounds good to me- we'll see what the rest of the gang says.

Yeah, May would definitely be out. Then again, we'd probably have the whole gang bugavannig to TOD anyway

Hmm. Blue New Beetle in Orange Park near the mall? Newbeetle.org sticker? NB arch sticker? Spoiler? Any chance it's this one?

Sorry for the late reply, you never know Al I would think it probably is a 9" narrow but then againg he could have a Jag rearend or similar underneath the beast. This looks like an E ticket ride at Disney to me.

Bet this thing will haul the metal.
