I'd vote for voodoo since the looks went away about 30 years ago I think the charm went bye bye about the same time

Well, the list of what's being brung so far is in the 1st post. I guess you can go from there. Side dish like potato salad, macaroni salad, home made beans, etc. As soon as you decide, let me know and I'll update the 1st post

I just looked at that post so you could do the rolls for the hot dogs and maybe a side dish?

I was just going over the the Dreher Island State Park site in the link provided on the 1st post. We'll need to reserve a "picnic" site for our group. They have I think 12 that range in size from holding 30 to 75 people. A picnic site has a covered area with tables, a grill and access to toilets. While you aren't able to see the actual site you can see where it is located on the island, how far it is from parking, where it is in relation to the shoreline and size. I was only able to see them when clicking "make reservation" for the picnic areas. If I can ask each of you who will be coming to this GTG to check out the locations and post your thoughts. I was thinking site #1 which appeared to be pretty close to the shoreline and only 75 yards from parking. We should be making a reservation in the next couple of weeks so quick feedback is pretty important.

I have no prolem absorbing the $35-$70 to reserve the space. We'll have access from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. That's a 7 hour window where we'll be able to hang as a group. I feel we'll have 30 people so we may not need a huge picnic spot. That is the input I'm looking for. Who is in, who isn't?

If this doesn't work it'll be a GTG at our place in Aiken and for the kids, Lake Murray will be supplanted by a sprinkler in the front yard

Hey Gary, that spot seems good to me. I'll send some fundage to reserve the spot, just let me know. I don't think that we should need a large spot, it would be nice if we had to reserve the large one. Maybe one day we'll have 100 local people at a gtg.

I'll be happy to split it with you so just let me know because I think prices vary. Looks like a good spot to me too. Right on the water and not too far from parking so we aren't lugging food and coolers for a mile.

Cool As for the hot dog rolls. Maybe the next time you do grocery shopping ask at the deli roughly how many hot dogs in 5pounds. Judge the bunnage from that

Huh, what? Not sure what you're huh-ing about. I just was adding you folks to the food list on the 1st post. If your huh was for something else, you'll need to be more specific
