Finally made it back to Michigan. Stupid state welcomed us back with a thunderstorm. Is it as unhappy to see us, as we are to see it? No matter, we'll be gone in 2 weeks anyways. lol

just did a quick looksie from about the last 5-6 pages back. The pre-GtG vibe was and still is great. It was cool going back seeing what everyone was cooking and how they were prepping their beetles. Man that was a great GtG.

Any idea on Dreher Island 2.0?

I recall there being enough interest to make this an annual event. I think we even talked about late July timeframe. This way we have a break between ToD and St Augustine End of Summer GTG's. I'd personally like to see this venue become tradition but would like someone else to step up to the plate and organize this. If no one does, I'll eventually start a thread and see where it goes.

Hey Gary and Al, still game with the rest of ya about a July GTG. I'm working on a few ideas to bring to the next DI GTG. I'm getting a Vag-com and going to bring it, so anyone can scan their NB's for free.
Maybe some VW door prizes.....I'm going to talk to the local VW dealer and see if they have some promo giveaways, or they can donate a few things. I'm going to go there in January to get some tranny fluid, need to do a fluid change.

I'll be back on it after Christmas is over.

Not to be scolding you or anything, but you do need to be on the forums more. Example.....

-the 3rd annual Stone Mountain/Atlanta GA GtG is in February.
-Of Course ToD in May
-2nd Annual Dreher Island GtG is currently in the works for an earlier summer month.

I hope you can frequent the forums more and even join us for some GtG thrills

I'm going to try to make it to at least two of those GTGs. I know that ToD is a no-go though. That's the same month as the Southern Worthersee and the Formula Drift.
