Default Housewarming Party/VW gtg, Dacula GA December 4

Ok, so posting this here too for those who don't get on fb to see an event invite.

December 4th, at 1pm. Bring a dish to pass, to ensure we have enough food for everyone. I wanna see my sub division full of Volkswagens. lol

This won't be just a nB gtg, since Wilky drives a GLI, so we'll have some squares mixed in. But maybe we can show them up and have more nB's.

I'm not going to post my address here, but if you're interested, PM me for the address. Even if we haven't met before.. if you're close, this is a way to meet now! We're new to the area, can't wait to meet more people.

No worries, thinking we might reschedule til after Christmas... maybe mid January. That way it makes it easy for others as well.

I'll get back to you today to firm up. In any event, we'll make a visit at some point. It isn't like we have to drive to Michigan

Michelle!!

Sorry Tam, but it'd be a no go for us this weekend. Our daughter makes her money when she can and catering Christmas parties these next few weeks puts mucho dinero in her pocket.

We're really looking forward to seeing you and Steve and welcoming you to the south. As well as whooping it up with other Org friends in attendance. You got the grill, I'll bring a batch of bitchin' chicken

What? just quoting Denis Leary! That's all...lol Promise don't you see my halo?

Well, we can always save the house warming for our Georgia GtG in February! I still have yet to come up with a place for it, and well...we do need to officially welcome you guys to the South. So, if it's ok, We can do the Georgia GtG, usually mid to late February, at the house!

As long as someone makes me a birthday cake... chocolate with rainbow chip frosting... I'm down with it being in February. lmao

BTW Gary... the youngin' tagging along with you guys wouldn't be a problem, he'd have at least my two to keep him occupied anyhoo. I forgot to mention that in the PM when you said he would probably be coming. Xander would be all about another boy being in attendance. lol

It's a good thing it kinda fell apart for this weekend. Grandma ended up in the hospital in North Carolina after Thanksgiving, she was having a hard time breathing and her chest hurt. They determined that she had pneumonia, and she's still there. She can't even get on the phone now, because just talking puts her out of breath. We're worried, that she isn't going to make it out of this one. They're talking about intubating her, and as much as she's gone through in the last year and a half, we don't think her body can handle the stress.

Anyone who has me on facebook... please don't post about it there. We haven't told my sister how bad it is because she just got past the 1 year anniversary of her other grandma dying. Who was also intubated and had pneumonia. :/

Sorry about gram Tamika Positive thoughts for you and her will be with both Denise & I.

If that's where we end up for the February Georgia GTG, we're good with that I'll still bring a batch of bitchin' chicken. As for Christopher, he'd still have to be back in Aiken by 5 or 6 so we'd be leaving Dacula between 2 and 3 anyway. Got grief for not having him back in time after the Dreher Island GTG

BTW, love Denis Leary. Moreso in his standup days.
