Early Monday bump, no thanks to the cat. Her clock is a little early, mine said I still had 30 more minutes to sleep.

Still planning on attending this, with lasagna, non-dairy dessert, hummus and a parrot on my shoulder (eyepatch not included).

The look on Michelle's face was priceless as she walked across our crushed gravel driveway in her toe shoes Actually, it wasn't so much as a "look", but a prolonged wince

Well sort of.....a few things were going bad/leaking and had to tear the top of the engine apart.

Broken bolts to S/C to bottom manifold $5 (bought hardened bolts)
Intake gasket set $13
Idler pulley from Neuspeed $53 (not by choice)
3 coolant hoses leaking $53 from ECS Tuning
Too many cracked vacuum hoses $0 (hoses left over from another job)
Now, I have a cracked crankcase vent valve, and you can't buy that seperate from the intake tube. $250 ( I refuse to pay that much, heading to the junkyards Monday)

Why is it when I quote a post with a pic in it the pic does not show up???
I've seen where other people quote a post with a pic it shows up for them...

Anyway...

I hope so Gary, It should if we have as many out of staters (is that even a word LOL ) show up that have chimed in

OH... Gary... I stopped to inquire about a tow hitch today for my NB and I tried to talk a young lady into trading you her CC interior today... She said no
But it was worth a shot

Hey Tim. Good try on that interior swap Someday I'll have the wherewithall to obtain a DYCC interior

Somehow the roster doesn't look that large. We haven't heard from a couple of folks who attended last year. Hopefully they'll find the time to join us. Look forward to seeing you folks in 5 or 6 weeks

If I get Talula a Beetle toy that she can perch on, does that make it 14.5?

If you don't mind it being Herbie... I might have a 1:6 r/c car (that doesn't work, needs a battery that's hard to find lol) that she can perch on. :P

Look up the r/c car from Herbie Fully Loaded. It's pretty big. lol

Well I suppose Shawntina and I wont be attending now . I just purchased a new to me GTI! And I don't think we would quite be accepted... But I love my GTI already! And I'll quote myself from facebook "I'll always have a beetle in my heart and a Volkswagen in the drive way!" I'll miss my Chi Chi but I'm keeping tabs on her!
