Bugshop - Charcoal and "Buckle my knees mac-n-cheese"

Allright

Val and I are in again! We had so much fun last year and wouldn't miss this again. We couldn't stop talking about the georgous scenery there. I think this year, we might leave early and grab a hotel for the weekend, or at least Friday night and roll up to the GtG Saturday a.m.

The 23rd should work for Val and I. I'll be about a month removed from Roswell and should have bounced back financially, to make a repeat appearance to Dreher Island.

I guess I could bring my ribs again.... that's if you guys would like me to???

Well, where the hell have I been And Kurt, you have my sincerest apologies. General discussion at the time was that the shelter across from us with better access to the beach was a contender.

Obviously, Denise & I are in. With gas prices, this, ToD and hopefully St Auggie may just be the only GTGing we get to do this year.

I'll do bitchin chicken again if everyne is ok with that. And Al, please do the ribs. Whatever we do tho, please do not put Tamika/Steve/Michelle/Matt in charge of charcoal and paper goods I like my chicken fully cooked

And Al, check the Dreher Island/Lake Murray website. They have villas and cabins right on the lake available. Denise had checked into them as a casual getaway weekend thing. They seemed quite reasonable.

Now Kurt, time to PM those who attended last fall, a link to this thread. They, as I did could easily have missed it. However my excuse won't be Facebook

Unless cup will already be parked where we will gtg there is no causal walking to the gtg for them!! Cup has to come!! Pics!! Smurfette would not he a happy camper is cup did not come!! Hopefully I will be doing ok to come. Keep your fingers crossed. Bitchin chicken sounds great as do the ribs! I dunno what we will bring. Dunno if everyone like the tater salad.. Man that does sound so good though.. Uuummmm... I can't request any more time off then ToD because I will need it for maternity leave.. But I am gonna plan on coming at least for the day again, minus the 5 hr energy drinks.. lmao

and here I thought my calendar was full... I can probably sign up for that amazing lasagna and no-dairy dessert from last year...this year I will bring Talula with me. It was a lovely GTG last time, I had a lot of fun! Maybe we can scrounge up some more participants for this year ...

You're right on the money with it having been a lovely GTG Chris. I think what made it so is that there was NO other itinerary, other than doing what we do best.

Sure thing Mr. Kurt! I'll rattle a few things in me ol noggin and cook something up.

I know it's a new year and all, but I liked the vibe of the first banner I did; but i'll keep it fresh and make a new one

I would hope with the addition of the kazillion Carolinians on this here org, we would have a bigger crowd for this year- at least I hope so

You can just update last years banner, to make it easier on you. It was a great banner, in my opinion.
