Just throwin out a feeler for maybe a little GTG for this month. I don't know about you guys but I'm itching for some GTG love that's no more than 3 hours away.

As for what's planned, quite a few different options are always available to us, from going to Tampa, Cocoa Beach, or Jacksonville and doing a beach thing OR to staying in Orlando and doing....a theme park, Gatorland, or grub somewhere and running around doing photos? I know of some pretty choice spots for some pictures around Orlando and I even know a fun little spot where we can park and get some firework pics done

OH and Irina (OhSnap) has a little place where the coffee and desserts are ACE and there's a nice big parking lot in the back of her Coffee house.

These are just ideas on the burner and I think it would be great!!

Any input or ideas is welcome here!! Let's hear them!!

Ya know Val and I are in.... and Cup too- hopefully she'll be out of the shop within the week. Either way, we should be able to make it.

Central FL sounds good kiddo. Jacksonville can be done in Sept. with the St. Auggie GtG. Sounds like you and Irina have some good locations working already. I'll stay tuned to see what's cooking.

I may be able to work up special parking privileges if its in summer, or we can always go somewhere else nearby for photo-shoot.

It sounds fun to me! I'm new at these kind of things and i'm always wondering what other people are doing with their Bugs. I think Either a photo Op, or theme park or the beach sounds fun! I'm up for anything. BTW-- Does aanyone know if there is a way to change my name on here?

The museum is in Gainsville and is a nice little drive from Orlando, if anyone's looking to carabug along I-75. The coffeehouse I frequent is in Winter Park, but not necessarily near anything else of interest. It might be fun for the Orlando crew to meet at some time, but not really a destination for outoftowners. Can we make this happen by the 18th or the 25th? I will be in Tallahassee to work summercamp from the 27th of June until the 22 of July.

Not quite sure on my end just yet. I'm hoping to hear something from the shop tomorrow (Monday) about Cup. I'll give you a more definitive answer then.

I would love to go Orlando or ?
Lil' Guy just had a valve body replacement paid for by VWOA in full. Yes, the Lil Guy is recovering nicely. This was after I received recall. Thursday 6/16 he goes to have a front light replacement at the same place CUP is or was at.

Al, hope Cup is doing better.

Glad to here that the Lil Guy is getting all refreshed and what not- excellent!!!

Well as for Cup.... she's gonna be down for a bit. She's skipped timing and looks like there's some valve damage. Not sure the extent of it yet- should know something hopefully by tomorrow.

Fret not, she'll live to play another day, but at the moment she'll be in surgery for a little bit.
