Southern Worthersee 2012
So its a few months out, but anyone planning on getting to SoWo this year? Just got our room booked

Tom, its in Helen, GA.
If only I could get to the real thing one day! SoWo is a nice substitute though. Helen, GA is a very German town. Perfect place for the show. I had a blast last year. The show is along a river that you can tube down. Stayed an extra day past the show last year and took advantage of that, so it was neat. Plus the town has great food. Just a really great time and more about the show and hanging out and appreciating all cars...I like it much better than H2Oi.

Hoping to make it this year. Last year was pretty fun. Though I hope they have better access to the rest of the area across the river. And that it's not quite so hot. Lol

I think they are going to be putting more vendors and food and such on the other side this year, which was my biggest complaint. We walked all the way over there and then got thirsty walking around...and when it was that hot, we both felt fairly miserable by the time we got some water.

Yeah that's exactly how we felt. I was parked on the other side, so just to get to the main area felt like a task. And then once over there, I wanted to see EVERYTHING so that when I got back to the car, I didn't have to go back to the main area for ANYTHING. lol
I THINK there was a discussion about a bridge over the river. Here's hoping. Either that or I'm bringing a bike or something to get around faster!

Sounds like they are using the other side of the river exclusively this year. Armed security and spotlights and they'll let you park there all weekend! Also sounds like they will have a bus to get you over there. Looking really forward to this show again this year!
