Attention all Beetlers in the Colorado region who might like to attend.

It has been brought to my attention that our beloved SixChuter,(John) Lona his lovely wife and of course.... Miss Lily will be in our neck of the woods, sometime next week. Official date is TBD but I am guessing Friday-ish. (9/4/09)
The day of their arrival, we will be meeting in Longmont for lunch and then on to a photo op at Red Rocks.

Any and ALL Colorado or surrounding New Beetlers are welcome to attend. We would LOVE to have you.

I am leading the tour as the guide, so please contact me for any info. You can PM me here OR
email me at yello_jellybean@yahoo.com
If you wish to call, just PM me and I will give you my phone #.

You are amazing girl! Thanks so much for putting on a gtg for us. One thing I might mention though. We probably won't be coming back south to Denver until probably Saturday (9/05/09) or Sunday (9/06/09). I hope one of these days would work for you all. Joining a Colorado GTG during our road trip would be a highlight. Thanks for offering to guide us. We are looking forward to seeing you all again.

We can work with that. Let me check on something real quick...
I will be right back in a minute.......
Hey guys, I remembered that the was a Garden of the Gods cruise with the Colorado New Beetle Club that weekend.
That would an awesome photo op too. You will be here just in time.
So, if you are here on Saturday 9/5 we can meet somewhere around Denver and the caravan up to Colorado Springs for the GTG if you want OR if you arrive say... Friday (9/4)we can do the lunch and Red Rocks thing. Sunday (9/6) will work okay too, we could just do the lunch and Red Rocks thing, but I must warn you that Red Rocks gets crowded in the summer on the weekends, AND if there is a concert, it will be even worse.
It will be Fabulous regardless.

Coribug will be at the Garden of the Gods GTG and so will Rhonda. Rhonda has the Triple white convertible. How lucky can we be?? Two triple whites in one place.

This is getting more interesting all the time. So, if you can tell me what time and where to meet you on Saturday 9/5 we will be there. A cruise with the Colorado New Beetle Club? How cool could that be? We would be pleased to join you.

Awesome. I got JoAnne's voicemail and I wasn't sure if I could meet up with you guys. The Garden of the Gods is in the Colorado Springs area. We're doing lunch and a cruise. Rhonda knows the Springs so we'll talk details and get back to you.

Well John, there you have it.
Cori is the President of the Colorado New Beetle Club so she will work it out, and let us know.
One of us will PM you tonight or tomorrow and let you know what is going on.
We move fast around here. Can't you tell? LOL!!

How about this... since I know you are leaving on your trip soon, and I am not sure if Cori will get you all the details before you leave. Why don't you meet me on Saturday morning at
The parking Lot of the Radisson Graystone Castle Hotel at 120th Ave and I-25 at 9am. That is about 1 1/2 hours (approx) from Ft. Collins. We can meet for a quick breakfast. There is a Dennys or something over there I am sure. Then we can leave from there and head up to Colorado Springs, or wherever we need to meet the rest of the Colorado New Beetle Cub. They will get this info. to me and I will let you know, when you get here.

If you call me on Friday,(9/4) I will give you the update.

That will work for us. I will call you Friday for final details. I suppose you will be using FSR radios on the cruise? If so, do you have a frequency picked?

BTW, I thought you went "down" to Colorado Springs from Denver.

Or are you talking altitude?

To be honest.. I have no idea. (elevation wise) Let's just say head on OVER TO Colorado Springs, and leave it at that, (Smart Alleck)
I don't think we have picked a frequency yet for those radios, but I will find out and give you the info., with the update on Friday.

We may not be quite up to the "Royalty" level but we do feel special since we joined this group last April. This will be our 3rd GTG with this NB family this summer. Can't do much better than that. NB folks rock!

We're loading the luggage now and will be on our way very soon. Everyone take care and we'll be back in touch very soon. We're headed for Devil's Tower! I hope to find a few more aliens there. If we don't get abducted again, we'll see you all soon.
