main days are the 16 and 17th of april. though on the 15th they are taking a drive to enchanted rock for those who are there, and i'll be there for all three days

so who's interested in planning a gtg? maybe like september/october time frame to allow for all the planning and for heat to start going away?

I'm cool with a meet up.....any time really....it is a little hot to drop the top nowadays...but an evening/night meetup might be cool before sept.

I think the Sept., Oct. time frame sounds good. SamSalter is right, it is toooooooo HOT right now! It was almost too hot the last GTG. Lets really try to make this one happen this time.

Sept. 10th and 24th seem to be a good Saturday for me as of right now and

Oct. 15th and 29th are good also.

As the dates get closer we can narrow them down.

Count us in for a fall GTG. Any weekend except October 15th-16th. Our local VW club, VW Owners of San Antonio is having our 19th annual Oktoberfest Car Show at the Main Plaza in Boerne, TX. On Saturday afternoon, we meet at the Main Plaza in Boerne and cruise out somewhere, usually Luckenbach, and then grab dinner somewhere on the way back. Sunday is the Car show which wraps up with awards around 2 p.m. Of course, it is mostly air coolers, but at the Sunday show, we usually have 10 - 15 water coolers. You are all welcome to come. I am bringing two of my NB's, and there are always several more plus the Jetta's, Golfs, etc. Check out the website VOSA - Volkswagen Owners of San Antonio. It is probably not yet posted on there yet, but it should be soon.

I'm down for a GTG...don't know my schedule for the fall yet, though! Will have to look more closely at the dates as we get a little closer.

let's really get this one goin this time. let's keep bouncing ideas on when to meet as it gets closer and everyone has better ideas of schedules.

Also, suggestions on where to meet, what to do, where to drive, etc?
