Either is fine with me....then again, if we are doing it in the spring, there is Lake Belton right in the middle of the state, we can have something around here. An Hour north of Austin, and 2 hours south of DFW.

No I was at the VW Harvest Oct 3rd in Leander, My son and Brother-in-Law was at the other show, My Brother-in-Law is a Air-Head Vendor so he goes to a lot of the shows around Austin

the more i think about it the more i think fredericksburg would do better overall assuming we have anyone coming from san antonio. otherwise the i think the lake is the perfect choice

I believe we are going to try to make it to Fredricksburg this next time. That's the Texas Classic, right? At least that is the plan at this point.

We are hosting my family here in Dallas for Christmas - folks from Canyon Lake and brother from Philly.

I am new to newbeetle.org. Just got a 2005 NB GLS TDI. What is happening in Fredricksburg in March? Any local Austin GTG happening? Looks kind of dead from my reading.

congrats on joining our ranks. in march we're meeting up in fredericksburg to take a drive in the hill country. as far as i know, there's nothing closer to austin for any gtg's. there's also a show/gtg in april called texas vw classic.
