Default Colorado meet up?

Hey guys!

Ok so honestly i'm pretty left out of my local VW club, probably because I drive a Beetle. Mostly my friend and I show up and no one really talks to us.

Anyone down for some sort of New Beetle meet in Colorado? Maybe do a caravan from Denver to Garden of the Gods ? Maybe Cheyenne Mountain Zoo then the Roy Rodgers shrine ? Just doing this as a feeler!

We've done 2 GTGs at Garden of the Gods and one in Fort Collins so I think we had discussed planning our next one for the Denver area, possibly in the spring. If there is interest before then, we could plan one for Februrary some time.

Ok Justin! I'll hold you to that! So what does everyone think? The weather can be really weird but we could just go and plan one. If there's 12 feet of snow outside your door, then we'll plan on the next time!

How about a GTG after Christmas? Saturday or Sunday? Where?

Ooh, I don't however, go over the pass in the winter, so whenever you have one in the spring/summer, let me know and I will be there

I am game for a local GTG too. I don't go to a lot of the meets with MetroDubs in the winter. BUT, with that said, I am ALWAYS game for a GTG with my New Beetle peeps.

Somebody pick a time and a place and we can grab a pizza and some beer, or something to ring in the New Year.

How is that for an idea?

I would like to go too. I work weekends and would have to know by the 6th of the current month to ask for any days off in the next month. (did that make any sense?)

I think March is Colorado's snowiest month but I think we should plan a GTG anyway!

How does Saturday, March 6 look? In the Denver area? The Stapleton area has Famous Dave's BBQ or there is Dave and Buster's. Feedback please.

We should all have some sort of chat session and figure this all out, if anyone wants to PM their phone numbers we could do mass texts or something? Seeing how the guys at metrodubs don't care to much for me anymore

What do you mean they don't care for you? I have never heard or seen anyone say anything bad about you. I hope you don't quit hangin out on that board. Even if you do, I've still got your back. AND we can see you over here on this more "Beetle friendly" board.

I'll pm you my number. I will bet we could probably get Larissa to come hang out with us too. We'll have to see.
I will check it out.

I'm in as long as weather is not crappy.

I drive in the snow enough, I don't wanna do it on my OWN time if I don't have to, unless it's close to home.

Saturday, March 6
Lunch - 11:30 ok?
Denver

If anyone wants to throw out some suggestions, that's great. I offered Dave & Busters or Famous Dave's BBQ earlier, does anyone have opinions about those two?

The VW group that meets in Fort Collins used to drive to Dave and Buster's in Denver - maybe it's gone? I didn't look it up.
