Mid-Winter GTG...Oklahoma region...Feb. 26th

Was chatting with Randi and we decided to throw together a totally spur-of-the-moment gtg here at the Wards' homestead in Bixby. We have made no particular plans. Just want to get together to car talk and maybe a little tinkering under the hood. If the weather is good we'll throw something on the grill.

If you all were here for last years gtg you know the way. For those who are interested in joining us, but have never been here before, just holler and we'll give you directions.

We're planning this for Saturday, Feb 26th. I realize that's only 8 days away but if you get the urge to come hang out for the day, we'll be happy to see you.

I'm so excited! I have a coolant sensor and trunk struts that need replacing. Will be getting new tires this next week so I'll be eager to put some miles on them. We're having lunch with a friend in Stillwater at 11 so we'll be at Casa de Ward around 1:30 or 2. maybe we can all go out and grab dinner after we tinker a bit.

Hi Bobby! Come on down. We are gathering around 2:00 or so and plan to hang out and admire each others cars and then run up to Hideaway for dinner. I hope you can make it. Anxious to see the new car.

Sorry to bail but a friend of mine brother passed away this morning whom I've known since kindergarten. I need to hang around here. I'll miss hanging with my Beetle friends. Next Time
